Security and trust
Security is not a feature. It is the foundation.
Businesses trust Trediqa with the movement and meaning of their money. We take that responsibility seriously in how we design, build and operate every part of the platform.
Our principles
Six commitments that shape everything we build.
Security first
Threats are considered at design time. Security reviews are part of how features are built, not a final checkbox.
Privacy conscious
We collect only what a service needs, explain why, and handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Role-based access
Access is granted by role and by need. Sensitive actions can require more than one person.
Auditable activity
Financial actions record who acted, when, from where and what changed.
Data protection
Encryption in transit and at rest, with restricted, logged access to sensitive information.
Reliable systems
Monitored infrastructure, tested recovery procedures and careful change management.
Controls for your business
You decide who can move money.
Trediqa is designed with the controls that protect businesses from error and fraud, configured to match how they actually approve payments.
- Multi-factor authentication for business users
- Approval rules and segregation of duties for payments
- Payee and bank detail changes held for review
- Session controls and device awareness
- Least-privilege access for Trediqa staff
- Signed webhooks and scoped API credentials
Your data
Handled with care, used with consent.
Business and personal data is used to provide and protect the service. It is shared with partners only where needed to deliver a service you have asked for, and only with your consent.
Purpose limited
Data is collected for a stated purpose and not repurposed without consent.
Minimised
We ask only for what a service genuinely requires.
Controlled sharing
Partner access is scoped, logged and time-bound.
Your rights
Access, correction and deletion requests are supported in line with Nigerian law.
Straight talk
No borrowed badges.
We do not display certifications, licences or audits we do not hold. As Trediqa products launch, we will publish the independent assessments and regulatory permissions that apply, alongside the licensed partners who provide regulated services.
Reporting a security concern
If you believe you have found a vulnerability in a Trediqa system, please contact us through the enquiry form and choose “Other”. Please do not include sensitive data or access other people's information.
We will never ask for your credentials
Trediqa will never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, one-time codes, BVN or NIN by email, phone, social media or through this website.
